X-Country & Snowshoe
Skiers are encouraged to join CLCF Nordic and embrace winter! This is a membership category within Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation that provides access to parking and X-Country classic and skating trails. Great places to meet other X-Cross Country enthusiasts and swap tales.
The kettle moraine landscape with its short steep hills and rolling terrain is ideal for Nordic skiing. With perfectly maintained classic and skate lanes, you can cruise smoothly through the woods. We maintain two cross-country ski areas: Fox Hill Nature Preserve and Rudorf Farm. The Fox Hill Nature Preserve parking lot is at 4214 Sleeping Dragon Road, about a half a mile east of County NN. The Rudolf Farm parking lot is on Division Road west of Hwy, 144.
