CLCF Celebrates 40th Anniversary
On Saturday, June 21, CLCF celebrated its 40th Anniversary with a fun fundraising dinner. What a fantastic evening we had! Thanks to Cindy Mestan and her decorating committee (Kathy Gross, Ginny Curtes, Winn Eckert, Chris Van Hefty, and others), Little Switzerland in Slinger was an absolutely smashing setting for dinner catered by Shully’s.
Bev Sturgeon, Camille McGrady, Michelle Nast, Heather Theder, and Jen Butzke put together a wonderful silent auction for which Terri Isabel, Chelli Rettmann and two young assistants provided a very smooth check-out.
Donna and Bob Sprinkman organized the reservation responses to Heidi Vollmar’s beautiful invitations with meticulous care. Russ and Sue Darrow figured out and provided the sound and screens for Bob Boucher’s treasure of a video celebrating CLCF. Brooke Novaczyk arranged for blue grass after-dinner music. Laura Emory, Mary Franz, Elizabeth Gabrys and Alissa Moore were always there to help when needed. We were blessed to have wonderful sponsors, auction donors, and loyal attendees.
The party was loud, but our feet were dry! And Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation netted almost $100,000 for its Anniversary.
BRAVO and MANY THANKS to all!
