2020 Adopt-A-Tree

Posted in Categories Stewardship

Even though the office of the Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation (CLCF) is currently closed due to the Safer at Home Order, the staff is moving forward with its efforts to provide for the long-term restoration and care of woodlands on CLCF properties.

Volunteers and staff, while following the CDC social distancing recommendations, have recently worked to maintain the tree tubes on several CLCF properties along Hwy NN.  CLCF will be reusing tubes that were removed during that effort in its upcoming project.

In the next few weeks, CLCF will be planting 500 trees including basswood, black cherry, birch, dogwood, oak, and sugar maple. You can play an important role by helping fund this project by Adopting-A-Tree (or Trees) for $5.00 each.

Participants at any level can take pride in helping to create this living legacy for the benefit of future generations.
