Volunteers are key to accomplishing the Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation’s (CLCF’s) mission. Volunteers increase CLCF’s capacity exponentially not only by helping to implement land management plans but also by infusing energy and bringing new ideas to the organization. We truly appreciate the gift of your time! Below are the areas where we are always looking for volunteer support.

Stewardship

Join CLCF’s Stew Crew to remove invasive plants, create and maintain trails, and make general repairs and improvements to CLCF’s nature preserves.  Our Stew Crew volunteer coordinators, Meg and Joe Jansky, will keep you up to date on upcoming projects.

Volunteering to assist with habitat restoration is a great way to spend time outdoors while helping CLCF — especially if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty! It’s also a way to get to know the CLCF community and perhaps learn something new about your local native flora and fauna!

Event Planning

Join a planning committee for one of CLCF’s annual events.  It’s fun and a great way to meet other conservationists and put your creativity to work!

Office Support

From mailing coordination to filing, there’s always something to be done around the office. This is also a great way to learn how land trusts work from the inside.
